After a delicious, enormous breakfast, I packed the bike and todays direction was finally Lake Bogoria and finding accommodation in Kabarnet.

Once out of Nakuru it didn't take long to fork off towards the Lake Bogoria, offroad 😅 passing huge pineapple plantations. Occasionally there was still spanky new asphalt stretches and then a bit offroad again. That was for about 10-20km and then only offroad 😅 mostly flat dusty or gravel, but occasionally it was about picking the right line with stones sticking out - on the picture it looks dead easy 🙄😅

After a while I saw some heavy loaded Boda Bodas standing.... it was an uphill and they helped each other. When I arrived there were 4 more to get up! It was like revving it up as far as they could get and then pushed up with the help of the others. The "problem" for the momentum was a curve...so all helping hands were needed! Oh, they were fully loaded with charcoal ðŸ˜ē So if you take the load weight and bike weight and cc in relation to my Schimmelchen, I am travelling light ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚

After all were up, it was my turn going down ðŸ˜ąðŸ™ˆ all under the watchful eyes of the drivers. I paddled my way down as with the single zickzack line and loose stones down, it was for me the only way 😉ðŸĪ·ðŸžâ€â™€ïļ Some of the guys felt pity and helped me until I felt "safe" to go.

Shortly after I reached the village Maji Mata where I was desperate for a Coke 😄 Also temperatures were 30°C ðŸĨĩ so you can imagine how much I was sweating....

After that I was at a hate gor the National Park, but as I oy needed to go to the main road, I didn't need to pay. If I would have gone visiting the Geysir I would have to pay 60 (!) $ ðŸ˜ģðŸ˜ģ

After a short while riding along, a Muzungu couple on their bycicle came. Of course I stopped, and it was a German couple doing a 3 week cycling tour through Kenya - amazing 💊ðŸĪ˜

They warned me already about a downhill, so I was already getting nervous with each kilometres ðŸ˜ģðŸ˜ą It took me some stopps and deep breath, to get me around the corners, over the ruts and gravel, but I made it 💊😁 without dropping the bike! Shortly after was asphalt all the way to Kabarnet. But what a lovely area and view (back) to Lake Baringo in distance ðŸĪĐ

Unfortunately by the time I arrived in Kabarnet I could already feeling a migraine coming up 😖ðŸĪŊ.

I found through Google a clean and nice AND cheap room for the night. Once in the room, I just rested and hoped the migraine passes ðŸĪžðŸ™.
